Ellie La Trobe-Bateman is the founder and managing director of Blue Ventures Carbon Offset (BVCO – www.bvco.org.uk). BVCO is a not for profit carbon offsetting organization that works in Madagascar and South Africa to promote the use of, and distribute energy efficient stoves and solar stoves to remote rural communities. BVCO was born out of Blue Ventures and has been running since 2007.
