James Robinson

James Robinson is a consultant at Eco Ltd. He holds an MSc (Distinction) in Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Loughborough (2006) and also an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol (2000). He has a background in engineering and renewable energy with experience in small-scale energy projects in Africa and Asia as well as with renewable and fossil fuel electricity generation in the UK. Mr. Robinson has designed and implemented a technical and socio-economic assessment of an ethanol stove in Malawi, and he has also worked on micro-hydro design and construction in Sri Lanka. Recently, Mr. Robinson carried out key research into the markets and future potential of a range of cookstoves in Asia and Africa. He has experience in the research, operation, engineering and development of various energy technologies, including stoves. He has a broad range of technical and commercial skills that include project management, technical and financial analysis, system performance and knowledge management.
