Eco is a consultant firm based in London, England, that has been bringing solutions in energy, sustainable development and information technology to clients since 2000.

Eco staff members include three experts with PhDs and specific technical expertise in cookstove emissions, micro hydro design, utility scale electricity generation, decentralized electrification with renewable energy, and resource assessment.

Eco consultants have worked in more than 40 countries in Africa, Eurasia, and Asia on climate change-related projects in energy efficiency, renewable energy, household energy, and district heating.

Staff members have also authored publications on energy efficiency policy and financing, climate change policy and mitigation measures, and linkages between sustainable energy and socio-economic development. Eco’s additional network of institutional partners and individual experts around the world allows it to work quickly and to use local insights to improve the quality of projects.

Eco also maintains the HEDON knowledge network and edits and publishes, Boiling Point, a household energy magazine that reaches nearly 2000.
