Grant Ballard-Tremeer brings over 10 years experience in the field of project development, training and capacity building in climate friendly and clean development. He holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy, and has worked as consultant to the EC, WHO, WB, UNEP and UNDP. He has both natural communication skills and many years experience in international and intercultural teams, and has a sound knowledge of how to raise awareness, communicate effectively with state officials and civil society stakeholders, build capacity and engage decision-makers and change agents in practical action, coupled with excellent technical skills. Grant has a high level of skills in information technology and the use of multimedia in reaching and engaging a wide range of stakeholders from Government and Civil Society Organisations in sustainable development. Grant is a Chartered Engineer, and a member of the Energy Institute and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
